Depth of Field

I took this picture at La Jolla Cove. I picked up a rock and set it straight in the middle of the sand and I put my camera on AV and changed my aperture to F22 and took a picture. It took me a couple of tries until I got it right. I like the background in this picture and how it is focusing on the rock.

I also took this picture at La Jolla Cove. It was at the same spot as the picture above. I was holding my camera still, backed up and changed the aperture to F4 to make the picture clear. You can see the difference between the two pictures when you change the aperture.

This photo was taken at Santee Lakes. I was on a picnic with my family then I noticed the beautiful view. I set my camera on the grass, laid down and put my aperture to F20 and took the picture. It came out how I wanted it the first time.

This photo was also taken at Santee Lakes. I had to change my aperture from F20 to F3 to make the picture focused on everything and not just the tree.

The image above was captured at San Diego Zoo. I took this picture while I was on the field trip. I set the camera next to the statue and put the aperture level to F22 and took the picture. It is focused on the statue and the background is blurry.

This image was at the San Diego Zoo as well, I changed the aperture level from F22 to F3. It changed the picture, made everything look clear. You can see the trees and people in the background unlike the first one.
